Oh em gee, Eben goes to my school guys!

This needs to stop.

I have not gone a day without hearing his name since the moment people saw him on tv.

Eben Franckewitz.

People idolize him. And why? Because he can sing? I can name at least three people equally or more talented that go to Milford that get absolutely no recognition for their talents. But hey, they aren’t cute little boys who are on tv so I guess they don’t really matter, right?

Don’t get me wrong: I’m sure he worked hard to get where he is, and I think it’s a great accomplishment. With that said, I find it rather annoying that our school makes an announcement about how we need to make things normal for Eben, yet EVERY F!@KING DAY they make sure to mention him over the loudspeaker. They sell t-shirts with his name on them. They hang posters up in the hall. They allow a f!@cking tv crew to come in and further add to the madness. Normal, right?

Let’s further add to his ego by screaming his name every time we see him and talking constantly about like, this one time when like, Eben said hi to me. BESTIES<3 and the daily Facebook posts about how much we loooooooooove him. D’awh.

Idolizing someone because they’re on tv is silly. Being on f*!cking AMERICAN IDOL does not make you a better person.
